FOSSIL FUELS (page 50-51)


We have worked on renewable energy sources: wind, sun, water, etc. Some of the natural resources can be non-renewable. NON-RENEWABLE means IT WILL RUN OUT! (se agotarán)

Fossil fuels are examples of non-renewable energy. We are talking about COAL, OIL and NATURAL GAS.

Let´s learn more about how they are formed (use subtitles and stop the video as much as you need):

1- Read pages 50 and 51 from your Natural Science Pupil´s Book.

2- Look up the words you don´t understand and write any questions and doubts you have in the comments. (ESCRIBE TUS DUDAS EN LOS COMENTARIOS)

UNIT 6 - GRAMMAR: Reading 

Hoy, leemos el texto de la página 63, prestando atención a los verbos pasados y en past perfect.

TASKS (tareas):


1- Complete this table with the verbs given. Think: are they regular or irregular? Use your notebook and the table in the agenda.

(Recuerda, si un verbo es regular, el participio acaba en -ed, como si fuera el pasado simple)
(Recuerda, tienes una lista en tu agenda, en en la entrada de PAST PARTICIPLE I de este blog)


2- Read text on page 63. The verbs on the table 1 appear in the text.

3- Copy all examples of PAST PARTICIPLE that you can find within the text. Use your notebook.

4- Study the verbs in exercise 1. Look up the meaning in the dictionary if you need it.
