UNIT 6 - GRAMMAR: Present Perfect
Hoy, vemos el presente perfecto. Es un poco complicado, así que dejaré varios días para que leáis y comprendáis. Por favor, id estudiando la lista de verbos irregulares (en esta entrada y en la agenda la tenéis). Hay deberes al final de esta entrada. El jueves y viernes practicaremos esto con deberes y quizizz.Introduction
Today, we are going to learn about PRESENT PERFECT. You already know it. You have used present perfect many times. Example:
I have done my homework
Yo he hecho mis deberes
The verb HAVE translates as "HABER" (el verbo HAVE se traduce como HABER).
So Present Perfect is really similar to presente perfecto in Spanish. EASY, RIGHT? 😋😋😋😋

USE: We use past participle to express finished actions.
STRUCTURE: PERSON + HAVE (or has) + PARTICIPLE
EXAMPLE: She + HAS + STUDIED
Ella ha estudiado
What is a PARTICIPLE?
Remember the irregular verb list? The third column is a participle. It expresses a finished action. Example:
infinitive past participle
EAT ---- ATE ----- EATEN
comer ----- comió ------ comido
If the verb is regular, the participle is the verb ending in -ed.
infinitive past participle
FINISH ---- FINISHED ----- FINISHED
terminar ---- terminó ----- terminado
Present prefect with regular verbs is easy! Present perfect wirh irregular verbs.... You are going to need the list. This is a list of irregular verbs. They are ordered so they are easier to learn. YES, YOU HAVE TO LEARN IT ALL.... 😬😬😬😬 (Lo tendrás que aprender todo, pero iremos poco a poco, ¡no entres en pánico!)
